llaeyroSo, I actually had a good day today. But I'm not going to talk about that, because it seems my flist has the Mid-Week Blues.

Severus shot him his best ’are you actually that stupid or is the sole purpose of your existence to exasperate me?’ look.
“Muggles can’t use magic for sex protection.” The look didn’t falter, so he continued. “It’s like a sock for your dick.”
Severus blinked.
“Here, I’ll show you.” He shoved some Muggle money into the slot, holding up the foil packet.
“Those poor Muggle women.” Severus sighed.

“Shh!” hushed the angry woman next to him, “You’re ruining the sweet moment!”
“Sweet?! What part of that was sweet? If a girl’s a virgin, they mock her. If a girl’s not a virgin, she’s a slut. Men and women can’t exist independently. They need someone of the other gender. That’s the way it should be!” Sirius imitated. He considered that Muggle beer is probably stronger than butterbeer. He lobbed his bottle onto the stage and stormed out.

As soon as he moved away, Harry hissed, “Really? You know I hate being out like this, can’t you just try not to attract any more attention?”
“You should know by now, subtle isn’t in my nature.”
The waiter ushered the violinist over. He started playing. Harry looked at Sirius questioningly.
Sirius was on one knee. Suddenly, no one else mattered.
“Will you?”
“Yes!”

Remus squinted. “Cough candy,” he read off. Sirius screwed up his nose. “What’s popping candy?” he asked the shopkeeper.
“Try some,” she smirked. Remus took a pinch of the powder from her and tossed it in his mouth. His eyes went wide. Sirius took some.
“Ahhhh! Ith’s athacking!” Sirius cried, tongue hanging out as he tried to brush it all off. Remus just laughed.

“Can’t you slow it down?”
It had just meant to be a friendly shove of encouragement, but Remus hadn’t seen the crisp packet under Sirius’s foot until he slipped. He caught his balance on the handrail as he started to descend.
“Help! I’m being kidnapped!”
Remus hid his face in his hands and stepped on.
“I’ll never understand Muggles,” Sirius shrugged.

That was all Harry could take. He turned the trolley and headed off down the aisle.
“Potter? Where are you going?”
He parked the trolley in a spare cubicle and took the key. When he turned, Draco was in his way.
“The shopping, Harry?”
“Sod the shopping.”
Draco smirked and they strolled as casually as possible into the toilets.
