A/N: This was originally written for shiftylinguini in response to her prompt over at Daily Deviant's birthday bash, but I felt it wasn't smutty enough and didn't really fulfill the prompt as well as it might, so I used this to inspire 'Wait' [IJ/DW/LJ/AO3]. I'm glad I did, because I'm very happy with that fic, but I also like this poem so wanted to put it out there once the birthday bash was over. I'm posting it now because where Miss Guini is, it's already tomorrow, which is her birthday! This isn't your present, my dear, but I'm not sure it will still be your birthday where you are when I'm able to get that one up (damn you rehearsal and work) so here's a little something for you to wake up to =) (Because what great birthday doesn't start with a great dollop of Wolfstar angst? My Notes: This is simply beautiful. It is a story about the journey Sirius has been on and the man he has become, but that description just doesn't do the storytelling here justice. It is poetic. I had flashbacks of reading Oscar Wilde for the first time. It is the most moving and inspiring fanfic I have read in a long time, and I beg you to go find out for yourself. And don't forget to love all over it &hearts; &hearts;

I'll be adding this one to my Big Fat Rec List after reveals, rather than editing twice.

I can now announce that I teamed up with _melodic_ and impishinklings for rs_collab! Our team name was 'Radium's Sunrise' which is an anagram of 'Remus and Sirius' ;D

The plotting and planning was very much a team effort, and we all had our parts to write. I was the 'artist'! TBH I wish I'd left one of the pieces off, I'm not happy with it. Perhaps I'll touch it up and re-post. Perhaps I'll even finish the ones I didn't get done in time... But with my to-do list, I wouldn't hold your breath :P

So, I can finally dance around and say *I wrote this*! This story was an absolute delight to write, despite the emotional rollercoaster (or possibly because of it, apparently I'm a bit of a masochist). It's my longest ever fiction, first death fic, first first-person narrative, first non-linear timeline, first present tense fic (at the time I wrote most of it, although others have posted in the meantime) so it felt like quite a risk, and I was nervous for posting. The reception has been more than I ever could have hoped for. Fandom people, you are amazing! ♥

I owe so much to akatnamedeaster. Firstly, for the amazing prompt that spoke to me on a personal level. Secondly, for sharing her love of this unlikely pairing. She has shown me that not only are there possibilities beyond hate sex for them, but also the importance of real, flawed, sometimes arsehole-ish characters getting a chance at happily ever after.

And, of course, I have to mention my little star who is _melodic_! She has been a fantastic and much-needed sounding board and hand-holder throughout this endeavor. Her pom-pom waving is exemplary and the griping, grumping and groaning she puts up with is truly admirable! Also, she lets me beta gorgeous smut when my brain needs to recover xD
