I don't even know what to say, so I'm just going to leave some things here and spend the day listening to my favourite songs. I'll watch Labyrinth tonight and most likely do some more crying then.






A few years ago I signed up for the Adaptations Fest at bottom_draco and took a Labyrinth prompt. I tried to combine the two worlds, with Harry as Sarah, Teddy as Toby and Draco as Jareth (with all the outfits). It's obviously very AU and just plain weird. Well, it's here anyway if anyone wants some Labby feels today.

My heart is shattered. David Bowie was the first concert I ever went to and one of the best. Sigh. I woke up, checked my friends feed, saw your post at the top and ran off to google to confirm. RIP Bowie.

I never got to see him but his music and Labyrinth were important parts of my childhood. When the news came through, people thought it was another hoax for a while until his son confirmed it. Devastating.

Such a shock - I wasn't expecting that at all. I never saw him live and I didn't keep up with his more recent music, but in about 1974 my First Love gave me a cassette of Hunky Dory, which was my first introduction to music I hadn't heard in my own home - very grown up! So I always associate Bowie with that First Love.
