Oh this was wonderful I think you've written Lavender very well. She has a true sight here and has grown in her own power and wisdom.
As for the relation between Bill and Charlie I wouldn't be surprised if they had had a few wanks together during puberty but whatever they had, apparently it meant a totally different thing to Charlie then it meant to Bill.
