A/N: Thanks to gelsey for coming to my rescue as beta, when everyone else was scared off by the warnings :P This was a struggle to get submitted, because of rl going on through October. It isn't exactly the story I planned to write, but I'm pretty happy with the finished product.

My Notes: Lord almighty, this is deliciously smutty. The switching D/s is handled so believably, consensually and in-character. The really remarkable thing about this story, though, is that the POV of an outsider doesn't detract from the main pairing. It enhances our understanding of it. We get to see Remus and Sirius in their later years through unbiased eyes, and notice the natural little nuances in their interactions with each other that show the people they have become and the relationship they share. You should definitely check it out and leave some love for my incredible gifter!
